My Radio Show!
I want to take you guys on a visual tour of me preparing for my radio show that airs every Friday at noon. Yes, I have my own radio show, and yes, you can tune in! You can even download past episodes and listen to them via Podcast! My show is called "The Fabulous Medium: Dusten Lyvers" and it is hosted on Blogtalkradio.com. The link... http://www.blogtalkradio.com/dust10medium
Thanks for tuning in, and this is about as real as it gets to how I prepare for my show! :D
I am doing some office hours for Student Government Association here at Indiana University South Bend! I am a senator, which means I have to make decisions based on what I think the student body wants. I am also updating my events on my Facebook page! Also, check out the story behind my lyvers.com e-mail. I love having my e-mail as "firstname.lastname@example.org," thanks Dad! :)
I am still following my new diet plan for 2017! I had a couple stumbles over the last couple days (I ate texas toast, pizza, and a pot pie) but now I am back on track! This time I tried my hand at something I used to be pretty good at as a teenager, making sushi. Sushi really isn't that hard to make, see just how easy it is. It also isn't that expensive, I don't know why Americans always seem to think sushi is expensive. Check out my vid for an interesting lesson, you're welcome. :)
Thanks for tuning in again! I wanted to share with people the process of Mediumship before I even show up to a group reading. Spirit is communicating with me before I even see who the reading is for, I actually think this particular spirit is wanting to communicate with his daughter. I have a Group Reading tonight at Riverside Bar! Check it out.
I am loving my new lifestyle that includes cooking! I have decided to do meal preps and eat the meals days at a time. This new diet is really taking off! I can feel that I have more energy, and I'm actually saving time by just collecting the meals out of my fridge. I am so excited to discover even more recipes!
Hello again everyone! I have discovered the wonderful world of Cooking this 2017! My New Year's Resolution is to cook high protein and healthy meals! Many of you may not know this, but I grew up in a household where my parents didn't cook (I think they didn't know how). I have decided to take control of my life, and so I have gone on the adventure of learning to cook and eat right! I hope to inspire others on my journey, with my trusty "Dusten's Special Lifestyle Cookbook!" I specialize in "healthy high protein and eggless recipes that are quick to make." :P Thank you guys for following me on my journey!
Looking back at another year, I am amazed at who I am. I am the first in my immediate family to physically go to Grad School (excluding online degrees). I am the first in my family to be able to raise thousands of dollars for nonprofits by using their business as a platform. I can literally track what I've done and see how it has changed the South Bend area. I am so blessed. I am the first in my immediate family to have presented research at a professional conference. All while at 23. I am the youngest person in my family to have a house without a significant other paying the bills. I am the youngest in my Graduate Program in Mental Health Counseling at IU South Bend. I am still the youngest Medium certified by the Forever Family Foundation. I have done so much in my 23 years of living. I would say my greatest accomplishment however had been inspiring others to live their best lives. I receive emails from people saying they have been watching me since I first started posting about my endeavors online, and that they have gained motivation to self-improvement. It is hard. I will not pretend that this all comes effortlessly. I had to be a co-creator with my higher power (I believe in God but I am not here to spout out my beliefs). I had to find my path the hard way. I remember fighting so hard to boost my ego by thinking I wanted to be a medical doctor. Once I said "Fuck it, I am going to do what makes me happy, and what comes naturally," everything started falling into place. There is a way to just "plug in" to what your plan is, and it starts by surrendering, and trusting. I am excited to see what new things are coming this year. I am flying to other states and possible countries for work now, and I have a newly founded responsibility to help out others even more so than I did before. The more you have, the more you give. I try so hard, and it is to be able to offer more to others. I hope people realize that it doesn't matter how you act, how others view you, what your path is, just do what you were intended to do. Hell, I love pizza delivery guys, I love pizza. That pizza man isn't any better or worse than I am, I appreciate him delivering me pizzas! I'm not going out in the cold! lol. Hello 2017. :)
